Jennifer Winget, who played the negative character of Maya for the first time in Beyhadh, gained popularity amongst the masses. She got back with the same character in the season 2. However, this time the audience saw her in a really intense avatar. Now much to everyone's surprise, the show is all set to go off air as it has reportedly failed to garner good ratings.
“Given that the show has failed to grab TRP’s, the channel overnight took the decision of pulling the plug on the show on television but as the show has been performing well on their platform, the channel will continue to push the show digitally. Beyhadh 2 will air its last episode on March 13 on television," a portal quoted its source as saying. Looks like the show has failed to impress the masses this time.
What's more? Beyhadh 2 has failed to secure a slot in top 20 shows in the paid and free categories on General Entertainment list, according to BARC India weekly reports.
Beyhadh 2 airs on Sony TV and also stars Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhary in the lead roles.
