Palak doesn’t want to become ‘desh ki bahu’, says Shweta Tiwari on her daughter's debut plans

Almost a year back, Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari was in news for making her Bollywood debut opposite Taare Zameen Par’s Darsheel Safary in a film titled Quickie. However, Shweta wanted her to complete her education first, and the film was shelved without much ado.

Palak, who is a popular face on Instagram, has been making all the right noises, for her glam avatar. Recently, when Shweta was questioned about her daughter’s career, she answered, “Palak knows what she wants to do; hence everything is decided by her only.”

Shweta further added, “Palak is someone who decides for herself. Recently, she got a luxurious brand shoot offer and she said no because she wants to do some valuable work and not bunk her school and papers for something which isn't worth her time. She is the one who chooses her own auditions, says yes or no. I only handle the negotiation part. (laughs)”

Shweta also mentioned that Palak doesn’t want to become a desh ki bahu like her. In fact, she doesn’t want to do anything which is very close to her work.

On the work front, Shweta is all set to come back on television after a gap of almost three years. She will be seen playing a pivotal role in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan opposite Varun Badola. The concept of the show revolves around the mature love story of two unlikely couple.
