A couple of months ago, popular crime-based thriller show CID (Crime Investigation Department) which aired for almost 21 years had bid goodbye to its audience. The fans were quite disappointed with the makers and the channel.
And guess what; the team is back again! But this time the show will be called as CIF, which will be aired on Dangal channel. One of the fan clubs shared its first look wherein actors Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastav, Dinesh Phadnis and Ansha Sayed are seen in the police officers’ attire.

In 2018, the makers had made an official announcement that CID will take an intermittent break starting October 28 and will gear up for a fresh season with more contextual cases. The show, which first began on Sony TV in 1997, is about a team of detectives working for the Crime Investigation Department (CID) in Mumbai. Their main aim is to unravel murder mysteries.
Five iconic characters including ACP Pradyuman (played by Shivaji Satam) Senior Inspector Abhijeet, Senior Inspector Daya, inspector Fredericks and Dr. Salunkhe had become quite popular amongst the masses.
