Get set ready to witness the second season of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller, Kawach. In this season, at an inauspicious hour on the mystic Mahashivratri night, invokes the torment of supernatural forces in Sandhya’s life (Deepika Singh). The events from this night will bring Sandhya to the threshold of a dark secret that will unfold in times to come.
In an epic battle on choosing to avenge the past, the show will delve into the lives of – Sandhya, Angad (Namik Paul) and Kapil (Vin Rana) who are caught in a complicated relationship. While Dipika Singh plays the protagonist in the show, she will be joined by Namik Paul who will essay the role of Angad who will be in a complicated relationship with her. Angad has a heart of gold, who never wrongs anyone. He is geeky and has a fetish for modern gadgets. He loves to stay fit and healthy and is also a workaholic.
Commenting on his role, Namik Paul said, “The earlier season of Kawach has been a very popular television series and I am really happy to play this role in the second season. Namik, who was reportedly going to enter Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, has apparently been dropped by Ekta Kapoor. And instead, he joined her another show Kawach 2. Before Ek Deewana Tha, Namik Paul starred in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste opposite Nikita Dutta.
