Ekta Kapoor has given me everything, I owe my life to her: Mouni Roy on her successful television career

Mouni Roy has been on a career-high ever since she featured in Reema Kagti's Gold which released in 2018. Post the film's great run at the box office, Mouni has been offered a plethora of projects. The actress will be seen in Robbie Grewal’s Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW), Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Mikhil Musale’s Made in China. When asked if she misses the small screen from where she started her career Mouni told a leading daily, “I have a sense of belonging there, it’s like home because I know everybody.”

But as we all know, Mouni had a successful career on TV for almost a decade with shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Naagin, Do Saheliyaan, Naagin and others to her credit but for this 33-year-old actress, television is something which will always remain close to her heart and Mouni credited all her success to Ekta Kapoor as she said, “She has given me everything. I owe my life to her. Naagin is as much my baby as Ekta’s. Now I feel like I’ve moved cities and feel a little lost. But everyone has their own journey.”

And when Mouni was quizzed about returning to the small screen, the actress didn’t rule out her return to TV as she said, “Why not? Whenever I find the time.”

Well, we would undoubtedly love to see Mouni reappear on the small screen.
