Shah Rukh Khan joined hands with producer Ekta Kapoor for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and the two featured together in a new promo, in aid of her upcoming show as exclusively reported by PeepingMoon.com previously. Along with the video, Ekta also announced that Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will premiere on September 25.
In the video, Ekta, glamorous in a red dress and SRK, handsome in a white tux, are seen discussing the show, and of course, love. "Naya take romance ka. Naya take love ka. Especially because do log ek doosre ke liye mar sakte hain, ek doosre ke saath mar sakte hain, and most importantly alag rehke ek doosre ke liye jeena,” Ekta tells SRK in the video while explaining the plot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

But did you know that SRK charged an exorbitant amount to shoot for the promo? As per our sources, the actor took home Rs 8 crore to be precise. He reportedly shot for 6-8 hours with Ekta and another 2-3 hours for shooting his portion as a narrator. Well, considering Shah Rukh's charm, we are not surprised at all.
Apparently, Ekta wants to maintain the authenticity of the show. Looking at the excitement of the audience, the TV Czarina is aware that the audiences' expectations are skyrocketing. Clearly, with Shah Rukh on board for the promo, Ekta has piqued the interest of the audience further.
