Watching Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on screen is a treat and so is watching the legendary Kamal Haasan. But, as it is said, more the merrier! Get ready to experience two of the biggest stars of Indian Cinema share the screen for the first time. Kamal Haasan who will be seen in Vishwaroop 2 is all set to promote his film on Salman’s popular television show Dus Ka Dum.
The two have never been on screen together, though they surely share a few commonalities. Salman has been hosting the popular reality show Bigg Boss for several seasons now. The show launched its Tamil version last year and is currently ongoing with its second season which is hosted by Kamal Haasan. Salman admires Kamal Haasan and has displayed his affection and support in the past. In 2013, when the Tamil superstar’s first film in the Vishwaroopam franchise courted controversies, Salman appealed his fans to watch the film in theatres. In fact, standing by his words he had even attended the special screening of the film, hosted by Kamal Haasan.
Last month, the makers of Vishwaroopam 2 launched its trailer and the response was majorly positive, being appreciated by people across the globe. The film has been written, directed and produced by Kamal Haasan. It also stars Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat and Waheeda Rehman in important roles. It has been shot in Tamil and Hindi and is dubbed in Telugu. Vishwaroop 2, the Hindi version, is being presented by Rohit Shetty and Reliance Entertainment and is slated to release on August 10, 2018, worldwide.
Salman returned to Dus Ka Dum after eight long years and has had an interesting line up of guests on his show so far, including Sunil Grover and Chitrangda Singh. It is said that the finale special will bring Salman and Shah Rukh Khan together on the small screen.
