Irfan Pathan and Brett Lee to compete against each other in Sabse Smart Kaun

These days cricketers are not only restricted to the cricketing field but also try their hand at films, reality shows and television shows other than the usual cricket commentary. The latest cricketers who might appear on a show together are former Australian cricketer Brett Lee and Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. The fast bowlers have often competed against each other on the cricketing field but this time they will be matching their wits against each other to prove who is the smarter of the two.

The makers of the game show Sabse Smart Kaun have approached the two bowlers to be a part of the show where they would be once again competing against each other. A source revealed, “Both have given their nod, but the makers are figuring out their dates. They are young, talented and would definitely pull a large set of audience.” Brett and Irfan both have a huge fan following in India and are well known to be popular, talkative and funny people on shows. Brett had even acted in a film, while Irfan regaled everyone with his talks when he appeared with brother Yusuf Pathan in Kapil Sharma’s show and other interviews.

The two cricketers have often commentated on a cricket match together and even played together for Preity Zinta's IPL team Kings XI Punjab for a few years. Recently they even held a jam session where Brett played the guitar and Irfan sang.

Brett and Irfan are both associated with the network’s sports channel so it is easier and potentially problem free for the makers of the show to get them together. However, the dates and timing for the two busy personalities have to be chalked out. Currently, the show is airing episodes with commoners but the makers of the show are planning on creating a celebrity special week. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan had already shot for an episode; other celebrities who can be paired up are being finalized for the show.

Sabse Smart Kaun is a reality quiz contest where participants pitch their knowledge and intelligence against each other to emerge victoriously and win cash prizes. The show is hosted by television actor Ravi Dubey.
