Poonam Pandey has landed herself into trouble yet again! A police complaint was filed by the women’s wing of the Goa Forward Party against the actress in Goa on Wednesday, for allegedly shooting an ‘obscene’ video. An FIR was also filed against an unnamed person at the Canacona Police Station, for shooting the video featuring Poonam.

Now, Poonam has been arrested from a top-end resort at Aguada Goa by Canacona police. She was booked for shooting obscene videos of herself in Vanavond on the constituency of Beli, SSP Goa.

A police inspector was also suspended following outrage over Poonam's controversial shoot at a restricted dam site in South Goa, police said. Photos from the provocative shoot featuring Pandey, held at the Chapoli dam in Canacona sub-district, had gone viral earlier this week, which sparked protests in the area, with ruling and opposition party members staging a protest on Thursday, demanding action against police officials permitting the shoot. The protestors had threatened to close down the town of Canacona for a day while demanding action for the alleged dereliction on part of the police.

"Police inspector in-charge of the Canacona police station Tukaram Chavan has been suspended," Deputy Superintendent of Police Nelson Albuquerque told the protestors in Canacona.
