Box Office: Alia Bhatt-Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi casts its magic, shows remarkable growth at box office on day 2

After much wait, Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi released in theatres on February 25. One of the first big Hindi films to release after the third wave of COVID-19, it has managed to bring back the audience to cinema halls. 

After a thunderous start, Gangubai Kathiawadi showed a 30% jump on Saturday and earned Rs. 13.32 crores on the second day. Many shows are going houseful. The film's business is remarkable as one must not forget that theatres in Mumbai and Delhi are operating at 50% occupancy.

Gangubai Kathiawadi, also starring Ajay Devgn, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Jim Sarbh, Shantanu Maheshwari and Indira Tiwari, collected Rs. 10.50 crores at the box office on the very first Friday. Now, the total collection of the film is Rs. 23.82 crores.
