Ahmed Khan's Baaghi 3, starring Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, Shraddha Kapoor, Ankita Lokhande and others, casts Tiger and Riteish as brothers, who share a deep bond of affection. Ronnie, \has been protective about Vikram since they were young. In a turn of events Riteish's Vikram, a cop, is sent to Syria in a trap and what follows his Ronnie's struggle to rescue his brother.
The film opened to Rs 17.50 crore at the box office. On its third day, Sunday, it minted a total of Rs 20.30 crore, taking the overal first weekend collections to Rs 53.83 crore. On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu's Thappad, which deals with domestic violence, showed a jump on its second Sunday and raked in Rs 2.15 crore despite reduced shows and competition from Baaghi 3.
