Bigg Boss 15 contestants Tejasswi Prakash and Shamita Shetty are often at loggerheads due to their diverse opinions. Just a few days before the grand finale, the actresses got into a major fight during a task given by a special live audience. When Shamita was giving Karan Kundrra a massage, Tejasswi teased them and said, "It is Karan Kundrra and not Raqesh Bapat. Isse pahele aapne apne task ko kabhi itna seriously nahi liya tha."
Shamita reacted to Tejasswi's comment. The latter then went on to say, "Lo aunty chadh gayi us pe bhi." Shamita got furious and said, "It’s a task and you have no business calling me an aunty." She added that just for Karan's sake, she never reacted to Tejasswi's comments. For the unversed, Tejasswi and Karan fell in love with each other on the show and they are currently dating.

Fans of Bigg Boss 15, who watched the entire incident, dug out a throwback video in which Tejasswi spoke about being called 'aunty'. During her appearance on a reality show, Tejasswi along with other celebrity contestants discussed whether calling a woman ‘aunty’ is disrespectful. Tejasswi revealed how a person just a bit younger than her once called her aunty. “Mere saath hua hai. I am like, ‘Main itni bhi badi nahi hoon. Aunty?’ I’ll be honest, maine aise react kiya hai," she told.
Tejasswi added, "Maine bohot saari auntiyon ko, jo genuinely mujhse bohot badi hai, jinko main aunty hi bulaungi, unko bhi problem hui hai. A lot of people jo aunty wale age group mein hai, they don’t want to believe ki woh aunty wale age group mein hai." When Rithvik Dhanjani said it is not derogatory, the actress shared, "For women it is."
