Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik have been the talk about the town ever since the couple entered the Bigg Boss 14 house on October 3, 2020. The couple was often targetted by host Salman Khan and Netizens felt the actor was biased on the show. Now, after making an exit from the show, Abhinav has spoken about the same and said that all Salman was doing was guiding them.
"See, all I will say is, it is a show about speaking, so all sorts of opinions are welcome. I was very firm on one thing that whatever Khan sir batate hai, samjhate hai, it is for our betterment. So I won’t feel let down by it, ki ‘arre yaar, bura lag raha hai, itna bura bola.’ No, I will try to learn what I can from it. He is trying to guide in a way that ‘avoid this, do that."
The actor also added that those who are "nasamjh" (foolish), will feel bad about the situation. Abhinav further stated that he became "stronger" after every Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
Earlier, talking about his relationship with wife Rubina, Abhinav had said, "Everything is fine now. There’s no divorce happening. The show made us stronger and strengthened our bond. When we were discussing the show before giving a nod to it, I jokingly told Rubina that once you see the fights inside the BB house, you might forget the little fights we had. Jo tab humko badi lagti thi, woh actually bahut choti-choti ladaiyaan thi (What seemed like a big deal to us back then was actually quite small)."
