'He should write his name as Jaan Rita Bhattacharya, not Jaan Kumar Sanu,' says Kumar Sanu; Bigg Boss 14 contestant denies meeting producers with his father

Jaan Kumar Sanu was evicted from the Bigg Boss 14 on November 22. Since then, the singer, who is the son of Kumar Sanu and his former wife Rita Bhattacharya, has been issuing statements about his relationship with his father. During one such interview, Jaan stated that the renowned singer never supported him and accused him of being an irresponsible father. Reacting to his statement, Kumar Sanu went on to say that he introduced Jaan to producers like Mahesh Bhatt, Ramesh Taurani and many others. The singer also stated that he gave Jaan's mother his bungalow named Aashiqui.

Reacting to his father's statement, Jaan told an entertainment portal that his father never recommended him to anyone. "As per the recommendations everything that he has named. I don't know how much of it is true. Because I have gone to every producer, every music composer's office for the last 8-10 years. It's out there for everyone to see. You can ask them and they would agree with me that I have sat below offices, I have sat below garages. I have sat for hours and hours. I have spent nights sitting on the staircases of famous music composer's studios. And if my dad would have recommended me to so many people, I think one of them would have given me a chance if I am not wrong. That has not been the case so I don't know how much of it is true but now that the story has come out in front of everyone," Jaan told.

In another interview, Kumar Sanu spoke about Jaan mentioning that his mother is both his mom and dad. The renowned singer said that he should start writing his name as Jaan Rita Bhattacharya and not Jaan Kumar Sanu. "I’ve heard him say in his interviews and also in the Bigg Boss house that his mother is his mom and dad for him. I appreciate his respect for his mom, and I believe in giving even more respect to his mother. He should write his name as Jaan Rita Bhattacharya, not Jaan Kumar Sanu because, firstly, Ritaji has done a lot for him, and secondly, people will start comparing him with me, which is not good for him as a newcomer. I’d be the happiest father to see him successful," Kumar Sanu added.
