Salman Khan's controversial show Bigg Boss 14, which kickstarted with a bang on October 3, hosted its first weekend of Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman. This year's contestants Eijaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Nishant Singh Malkani, Shehzad Deol, Sara Gurpal, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Pavitra Punia and Rahul Vaidya were all set for their Vaar by Salman. Toofani seniors Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan were also present for the Weekend episode.
Sunday's episode was all about guests having a good time with the housemates and seniors getting upset with the contestants' performance in a task given by Salman.
Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 8 Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 14:
- The episode began with Salman welcoming cricketers Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan and Krunal Pandya of Mumbai Indians team. After playing a fun game with Salman, the players interacted with the contestants and seniors over a video call.
- Sarabjit aka Avinesh Rekho and Meher aka Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia from Choti Sarrdarrni also entered the house for a fun segment with the Seniors and the Freshers. The Seniors gave their chosen Freshers interesting phrases and adjectives, in order to sell them as the best product in the Bigg Boss house, and Meher and Sarabjit posed as the buyers. The fun and quirky element of the task left everyone in splits.
- Later, tension built up, as the seniors presented the freshers' report card, leaving some of them visibly upset and disturbed on the scoring and remarks.
- Pavitra ended up in tears when she was constantly targetted by the seniors. Salman then taunted the seniors for making Pavitra upset. Gauahar tried to console Pavitra as she broke down.
- It was then time for “galatfahmi ke gubbare” wherein contestants are expected to bust the misunderstanding of others. Nikki Tamboli said Jasmin goes and criticises people behind their backs, while Rubina is playing dumb while she is smart in reality.
- Salman then gives a task to the contestants to rate themselves as 'poor, below average, average, good and excellent'. All 10 housemates play the talk with no dedication and take up spots without fighting for what they deserve.
- This leaves Gauahar and Sidharth disappointed as they say, 'aap kisike ka koi point of view hi nahi hai'. Housemates then understand the task but it is too late.
- Salman enters through Me TV and loses his calm on the contestants. After showing how no one fought for the top position when asked to rate themselves, Salman chided contestants and told them to pack their bags and leave if this is how they were going to play the game.
- No eviction was announced as Salman left the stage in anger. Now if the first eviction will happen or not. is not sure yet.
- The episode ends with a huge fight between the housemates and Eijaz for not explaining the rating task properly. The housemates tell Eijaz to not hold the task letter if he doesn't understand what it is about.
