Weekend ka Vaar started on a funny note with Salman telling the audience how the girls in the house sort their parlour regime. Salman used a wax strip on his fav Jallad, poor Jallad.
Salman then played a clip in which housemates were discussing how each one is playing the game. Hiten and Hina were heard talking about how smartly Vikas is making his moves. On the other hand, some felt that Sapna was the one wearing the smarty pants.
Bigg Boss asked the housemates to nominate three names for captaincy from team blue including Luv. After some disagreements, they finally decide on Luv, Bandgi and Jyoti. Salman grilled the housemate for their choice. Though Akash played the task wisely he lost the plot for being childish and unpredictable.
The show then moved to a lighter note when Gaurav Gera aka Bigg Boss’ wife entered the stage in Dhinchak Pooja’s style. Salman and Gaurav talked in Pooja’s rap style.
Salman played a fun game with the housemates and asked Puneesh and Akash to get some props from the storeroom. Each contestant was given a name in the envelope. Without revealing the names they had to use the pluck cards to describe the person by his/her quality. Arshi got a little upset with Hiten chose “Baddimaag” “Brainless” pluck card for her.
Season 10 contestants Lopamudra Raut and Manu Punjabi joined Salman on the stage. As the last season was also based on the commoner Vs celebrity theme, Salman asked Lopa if she would have preferred to be in this season. Lopa said a big No, she said that contestants have stooped to a new low in demeaning celebs. Lopa and Manu share their feedback about the show with the housemates. Lopa told Akash that she finds him funny but he needs to respect people in the house. Lopa and Manu then spoke to Sapna and told her that though she was going great she needs to win the trust of more people in the house. Mehjabeen then brought up Shilpa’s statement in which she commented on Mehjabeen leaving her child alone to enter the show. Shilpa clarifies her intentions and Salman backs her.
Now came Priyank’s turn and Salman gave him a piece of his mind. Salman told Priyank that his entry has added more filth to the house. Priyank made a statement yesterday saying that he has researched well on everybody this time. He instigated Sapna by bringing up Arshi’s personal case on National television. A livid Salman did not mince words and told Priyank that this is his personality. He also went ahead and said that no matter how beautiful one is from outside ultimately it’s the inner beauty that matters. A sorry Priyank broke down bitterly and Hina and Luv consoled him. Bandgi and Puneesh then went to clarify to Priyank about his statement on Puneesh having a kid.
Arshi too broke down during the conversation and Salman once again gave a stern warning to people in the house to not get personal, that is no talks on religion, family, sexuality, and other personal matters. He has warned housemates that next time he will throw the person out if they flout the rules. Ben and Vikas tried to speak for Priyank’s action and they too found themselves at the receiving end.
Later Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task and tied, Luv, Jyoti and Bandgi to a rope. The task was that who so ever will survive till the end will win captaincy. They can strategies for the other to leave the task but they can not use power in any form.
Finally came this week's evictions. Salman announced Ben’s name and asked her to stand at the door. As the housemates waited for the door to open he called everyone inside except Ben. He fooled around with Ben for quite a while and a scared Ben lost her temper. Salman then announced Luv’s name and played the same trick with him and finally announced that it was Jyoti who was evicted this week.
As soon as she heard her name Jyoti broke down Vikas hugged her and asked her to be strong. Vikas promised Jyoti that he will always be there for her. He also assured her that he will make her dreams come true once he is out of the house. Awww, now isn’t that really cute of Vikas. Vikas was in shambles when Jyoti left the house. Vikas and Jyoti shared a brother-sister bond in the house. Priyank tried consoling Vikas. Jyoti’s election left Vikas lonely.
We have barely seen Vikas being so caring about anybody else. Will Vikas keep his promise to Jyoti? Will he make an effort to reach out to her once he is out of the house? Only time will tell.
For now, once again the race for captaincy has begun. Luv needs to win the captaincy at any given cost as he has been tagged as a non-performer throughout, and has been sailing in troubled waters. The captaincy will not just help him thread the needle but also save him from eviction next week. All I can say is may the best man win.
