India's first film on the launch of Mangalyaan in 2013 titled Mission Mangal finally released on August 15 and the makers of the film organised a special screening for the close friends and family members of the star cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari. In attendance at the screening was Vidya along with Akshay's family- Twinkle Khanna, Aarav Bhatia and Nitara Bhatia. Vidya, who missed the special screening in Delhi, filled up space at the Mumbai screening held on Wednesday.

Dressed in an exquisite saree, Vidya looked stunning as ever. In Mission Mangal, Vidya plays the role of Tara Shinde.

Twinkle, Aarav and Nitara watched Akshay's film. 

Apart from Akshay's family, Vidya's husband Siddharth Roy Kapur was also present. The actress' friend and producer R Balki along with his wife Gauri Shinde were clicked at the do. 

Mission Mangal is directed by debutant director Jagan Shakti.
