After the events of Avengers: Endgame, all eyes are set on the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Marvel Studios hasn't officially announced their plans for MCU phase 4, it has been confirmed that a standalone movie on Black Widow is in the making. Scarlett Johansson, who has been the face of the comic book character for the past decade, will be reprising the role for the standalone. Despite the character dying in Avengers: Endgame, the actress is set to return to the MCU movie as it is set in the past. Photos from the sets have already made their way to the internet, featuring Scarlett in action.
Now, a new report reveals a possibly huge plot spoiler. Earlier this week, a Twitter user leaked Marvel Cinematic Universe's future plans. The information was leaked by an online user named Roger Wardell. It was during this leak, Roger revealed a crucial Black Widow spoiler. He claimed that Florence Pugh has been roped in to play Yelena Belova in Black Widow.

For months, there were rumours doing the rounds suggesting that Emma Watson is in the talks to play the role. However, based on the leak, it seems like the Harry Potter alum is not going to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe just yet. With the leak suggesting Yelena's inclusion, it gives away a huge plot spoiler.
For those unaware, Yelena is the second modern character who took the Black Widow mantle. It was revealed in the comic books that she and Natasha Romanoff trained together in the same Red Room. But there was just bad blood between the two because Yelena believed she was the real Black Widow. Yelena goes on to become a powerful member of Norman Osborn's Thunderbolts. It would be interesting to see how the Black Widow movie unfolds and the film is reportedly eyeing a release date in 2020.
