Kim Kardashian channels her inner Marilyn Monroe yet again by rocking the style icon’s ‘Norman Norell’ gown worn at Golden Globes 1962

Seems like Kim Kardashian has been fan-girling over the style icon Marilyn Monroe lately and cannot get enough of her. After slipping out of the iconic ‘Happy Birthday Mr. President’ gown, Kim rocked another one of Monroe’s classics- a ‘Norman Norell’ gown that she wore for the Golden Globes in 1962 where she received the Henrietta Award For World Film Favorite!

Confirming the same on her social media account, Kim revealed how she stumbled upon Monroe’s priced possession. While searching for the vintage Jean Louis gown she wore at this year’s MET Gala, Kim found out that ‘Hertiage Auctions’ owned Marylin’s green sequined gown. “In my quest to find the Jean Louis hand-beaded dress that I wore to the (Met) Gala, I discovered @heritageauctions owned Marilyn’s iconic green sequined gown. Further into my research, I found out that the owner of the Golden Globe that she received that evening was none other than my friend @jeffleatham,” she captioned her post with a series of Instagram photos.

Gushing about the fact that she wore not one but two iconic Marilyn Monroe dresses, Kim called this a ‘sign.’ “I saw this all as a sign the way that all of the stars aligned. It will forever be one of the greatest privileges of my life to be able to channel my inner Marilyn in this way, on such a special night,” she concluded her post.

Another fashion moment presented by the fashion moghul! What are your thoughts on this?
