Bollywood’s one of the most favourite couples, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt bonded in the sacred union of matrimony on April 14, in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. Recently, the duo’s pre-wedding festivities pictures have taken over the internet and needless to say, they are all things love! Just like their nuptials, the pre-wedding ceremony of mehendi-cum-sangeet was a low-key affair with friends, family, fun and food!

Keeping everything understated, the bride definitely set a new trend with her understated look with barely-there makeup, fuss-free hairdo and her strikingly minimalistic mehendi! Check it out:

Our Cutie-Pie bride opted for a cheerful pink Manish Malhotra lehenga to mark the beginning of the pre-wedding events. Styled effortlessly by Ami Patel, Alia exuded radiance in a custom traditional outfit that came with a sustainable approach. According to the designer’s post, the actress’ fuchsia pink number was curated out of approximately 180 textiles patches ranging from Banarasi brocades, jacquard, bandhani, Kachha Resham knots, and some scraps from brides' earlier outfits and detailing from Manish’s archives. The intricately detailed outfit features a fuchsia pink Lehenga and a blouse embellished in real gold and silver nakshi and kora flowers, and vintage gold metal sequins from Kutch. This custom look also reminisces about her journey while depicting the symbolic elements of her memories. Inscribed through Kashmiri and Chikankari threads, this curated trousseau is a labor of love of 3000-hour intricate handwork of Mijwan women.

Opting for nothing but a heavy polki and emerald encrusted neckpiece and a statement maang tikka, the actress jazzed up her pre-wedding look.

In the glamour department, the actress opted for her signature understated look with barely-there glam and breezy beach waves that synced perfectly with the bohemian vibe of her look. Subtle and refreshing!

Complementing his lady love and bride-to-be, our dapper groom exuded ethnic vibes in a matching Sabyasachi number that came with a bright pink kurta and churidaar set. The gold-buttons infused koti layered on his desi number completed his look.

Cutie-Pie moment right there!
