Queen of Pop Madonna took to Instagram today to share photos from her recent birthday bash with her family. In a series of images shared to the platform, Madonna showed off her birthday fit, which included a pleated aquamarine dress from Versace, a gold textured belt cinched at her waist, and layers of chunky gold necklaces and eclectic rings.
And what took everyone's attention was how she decked in opulent jewels. Around her neck, she wore an iconic cross pendant, encrusted with handcrafted rubies and diamonds by Indian jewellery designer Hanut Singh. The legendary singer isn’t his first international celebrity muse, the jeweller, who himself is the descendant of the Kapurthala royal family of India has bedazzled names like Beyoncé and The Olsen Twins in the past.
Madonna hosted an outdoor birthday dinner with giant cross-shaped cakes for her nearest and dearest – branding the night a ‘sixth-century extravaganza’ via Instagram.
The singer also shared photos featuring her children—Lourdes Leon, Rocco Ritchie, David Banda, Mercy James, and twins Estere and Stelle Ciccone—and her boyfriend, dancer Ahlamalik Williams. And the singer posed by herself for a few shots, showing off her luxe ensemble for the evening.
