Rekha looks ethereal in Manish Malhotra at IIFA green carpet and stage performance

The 19th edition of International Indian Film Academy was held in Bangkok over the last weekend. The avant-garde witnessed a mixed bag of dance, music, glitz and glamour, put forth by the who’s who of Bollywood including stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Nushrat Bharucha and Kartik Aaryan amongst others.

The three-day gala was a testimony to the presence of some of Hindi filmdom’s iconic stars and new actors on the red carpet, in the audience and on stage. However, the evergreen Rekha performed live after 20 years and her stage act was clearly the highlight of the awards night.

For the green carpet, the legendary actress looked regal and elegant in an ivory sparkling kurta saree by Manish Malhotra. The threadwork embroidered ensemble made Rekha look timeless yet super glamorous. She completed her attire with loose cascading curls and bright red lips.

For her stunning stage performance, she again donned a beautiful custom-made anarkali by the ace designer. The brocade embroidered outfit was paired with a matching dupatta and custom-made jewellery and we must say, there's no one like her who could look as ethereal.
