Ananya Panday is all set to make her web series debut with Dharmatic Entertainment's Call Me Bae. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra are the Executive Producers, and the series is created by Ishita Moitra. Putting an end to the wait, Call Me Bae will be releasing on September 6. The show also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. The eight-part show is directed by Collin D’Cunha.
Call Me Bae revolves around Bae (Ananya) who discovers that her most valuable assets are her street smarts and style, post which she navigates through the newsroom in Mumbai. Sharing the poster, Ananya wrote, "update your calendars, things are about to glow up!"
Written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, Call Me Bae will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
