Jennifer Lopez plays a badass action hero in her upcoming film The Mother, whose first trailer was dropped by Netflix. Jennifer plays an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she was forced to give up for adoption.
In the action-packed thriller we see Jennifer kick ass and wield guns as she says, “I'm a killer. But I'm also a mother, and I will die protecting her.”

The Mother also stars Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci and Gael Garcia Bernal.
It is directed by Niki Caro and will premiere on Netflix on May 12.
