Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were the latest celebrity duo to sit on the famous couch of Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan 7. In the fifth episode of the new season, they talked about their upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. They also spoke about managing their 'modern' families. Kareena, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, opened up about how her husband's daughter from his first marriage, Sara Ali Khan, grew up as a fan of Poo (Kareena's character in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham).
During the episode, Kareena recalled an incident and told, "I remember at the K3G trials, she (Sara Ali Khan) was hiding behind her mum. And Amrita (Singh) was actually like 'Sara really wants a picture because she's such a big fan. She had loved Poo in K3G and 'You are my Soniya' so much.' But I don't know why people discuss so much about it, because I mean we are family. They are Saif's children, they are his priorities."

Saif, who was married to Amrita Singh, had two children with her. Sara is an actress whereas Ibrahim Ali Khan worked as an assistant director on Karan's directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Sara and Ibrahim share a friendly equation with Kareena. The actress shares two children with Saif- sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan.
In the fifth episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Aamir also spoke about the relationship he continues to share with his ex-wives- Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
