Alia Bhatt's maiden venture as a producer is all set to release on Netflix on August 5. Titled Darlings, the film is headlined by the actress along with Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. Amid much excitement and anticipation, the trailer of Darlings was released on social media today.
The trailer of Darlings traces the lives of Badrunissa Shaikh (Alia), her husband Hamza (Vijay) and her mother (Shefali). Hamza, a ticket collector, goes missing. The mother-daughter duo decide to take things into their control. But, there's more to the tale. As always, Shefali and Alia are deliciously good in this dark comedy. The powerhouses of talent never disappoint. Vijay as Hamza is someone to look out for. Yet another beautiful act from the wonderful actor. We are eager to see Roshan shine too.
Darlings is produced under Red Chillies Entertainment & Eternal Sunshine Productions. Produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma, the film is the debut full-length feature for director Jasmeet K Reen.
