Obi-Wan Kenobi: Ewan McGregor’s series gets brand new trailer on Star Wars Day, teases Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader returning to face the Jedi Knight

Star Wars fans hold May 4 as the Star Wars Day and celebrate it with much pomp and fervour. Now, to keep the fans of the sci-fi franchise happy, a brand new trailer of Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi, was unveiled by the makers. The new trailer shows Darth Vader’s presence although fans can only see his suit but his voice can be heard at the end of the trailer. The new 90-second trailer shows Ewan McGregor reprising his role of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi as he is on the run after the fall of the Galactic Republic. Hayden Christensen is returning to play the iconic character of Obi-Wan’s apprentice-turned-enemy Anakin Skywalker aka evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

The trailer follows the earlier trailer released where the Inquisitors are on the hunt of trying to find the Jedi Knights.  The trailer opens with Obi-Wan’s voice telling that the Jedi need to stay hidden because ‘they’ are coming. Obi-Wan can be seen keeping an eye on young Luke Skywalker, the son of his one-time apprentice Darth Vader as he tries to convince uncle Owen (Joel Edgerton) to train him for what may lie in store for him. The final moments of the trailer shows Darth Vader’s armour being assembled and hear his iconic breathing from the suit.
