The Offer teaser trailer: Miles Teller brings out the trials of Albert S. Ruddy in the limited series based on the making of ‘The Godfather’ trilogy

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming limited series The Offer based on Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy’s extraordinary, never-revealed experiences of making The Godfather has been dropped by Paramount Plus. The series will show the trials and tribulations faced by Ruddy in making the iconic film based on Mario Puzo’s best-selling novel of the same name.

The Offer stars Miles Teller as Albert S. Ruddy, Matthew Goode as Robert Evans, Juno Temple as Bettye McCartt, Giovanni Ribisi as Joe Colombo, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman as Charles Bluhdorn and Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus.

The trailer shows how Ruddy managed to turn around the studios with the budget and get onboard a reluctant director and a screenwriter. It also shows how Ruddy dealt with the Italian-American Civil Rights League that was led by mobster Joe Colombo and his dealings with the mafia who were not happy with a gangster film at the time.

The Godfather is an iconic trilogy film starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and others. However, The Offer will be a 10-episode limited series that will bring to light the making of the mob drama. The series has been created and written by Michael Tolkin. The Offer is set to premiere on April 28 on Paramount Plus.
