Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush’s quirky romantic comedy Atrangi Re is creating the right noise with its trailer and the songs Chaka Chak and Rait Zara Si. Today, during the album launch event of the film with music composer AR Rahman that is also being live-streamed on YouTube, director Aanand L Rai revealed that the film’s title was registered with Salman Khan’s production house and the actor was considerate enough to let go of the name on one condition.
Aanand said, “Atrangi Re title was with Salman. He was very generous to give that to us. Very thankful to him as this was the only title which could fit this film. Love is the most important aspect that is the highlight of our film.”
Apparently the Salman gave Atrangi Re title to Aanand on the condition that he would direct the film himself.
Atrangi Re is all set to release on Disney+Hotstar on December 24, 2021.
