Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani's much-anticipated film Meenakshi Sundareshwar will be arriving on Netflix on November 5 to make Diwali more special for the audience. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment. Today, after much wait, the trailer of the love story released on social media.
The trailer of Meenakshi Sundareshwar begins with Meenakshi, played by Sanya, 'interviewing' Sundareshwar (Abhimanyu). After understanding each other, Meenakshi and Sundareshwar, with the blessings of their families, decide to tie the knot. However, days after their wedding, Sundareshwar is offered a job in Bengaluru which he doesn't want to let go of. He has to leave behind his wife Meenakshi and family in Madurai. Meenakshi is his strongest pillar and supports him in every decision that he takes.
However, things take a U-turn when Meenakshi turns up in Bengaluru just to see a transformed Sundareshwar. Heartbroken, Meenakshi feels everything between them is now over. Will Meenakshi and Sundareshwar's marriage stand the test of time? Well, their story will unfold on November 5.
