There is something special about long-distance relationships. It is often perceived that LDRs are not always romantic and cutesy but Karan Johar and his team at Dharmatic Entertainment are here to change that notion. The filmmaker has teamed up with Netflix to tell a heartwarming and lovable story of Meenakshi and Sundareshwar who are in a long-distance relationship. 

Produced by Karan, the Netflix film Meenakshi Sundareshwar is ready to release on the streaming platform on November 5. Starring Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani in the titular roles, the film promises to suck us into a "unique and super cute long distance love story".  Sharing a new poster of Meenakshi Sundareshwar along with its release date, Karan wrote, "Get ready to witness this unique and super cute long distance love story this festive season, with us! #MeenakshiSundareshwar coming to Netflix on November 5."

Meenakshi Sundareshwar is directed by Vivek Soni. The first song of the film was released during Netflix's Tudum event on September 25.
