Muppets Haunted Mansion Trailer: Dave Goels, Bill Barretta, John Stamos and others bring a spooky story this Halloween

Disney+ dropped the trailer of its upcoming film Muppets Haunted Mansion recently with the beloved puppets portraying characters who’ve given up their mortality in a story based on Disney’s ghost-themed park ride. The upcoming Halloween special promises an entertaining watch with some heebie-jeebies by the side.

The official synopsis reads, “The Great Gonzo – world famous daredevil artiste, has done it all, seen it all, and survived it all. But on Halloween night, the fearless Gonzo takes on the greatest challenge of his life by spending one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth …The Haunted Mansion.”

The new trailer brings Gonzo (performed by Dave Goelz) to spend a night with Pepe the King Prawn (Bill Barretta) in a decrepit house infested with ghosts on Halloween night. The trailer shows Gonzo and Pepe in the titular haunted mansion where they avoid every glaring red flag and remain oblivious to the sinister presence around them.

Muppets Haunted Mansion will also feature special appearances from Chrissy Metz (as Harriet), Alfonso Ribeiro (as Fred), Edward Asner (as Claude), Jeannie Mai (as Maude), Danny Trejo (as Huet), Sasheer Zamata (as Mary), Craig Robinson (as Bust), Skai Jackson (as Bust), Pat Sajak (as Bust), Geoff Keighley (as Bust), Justina Machado (as Bust), John Stamos (as Himself) and Kim Irvine (as Haunted Mansion Maid).

Bill Barretta, Andrew Williams, David Lightbody and Leigh Slaughter serve as Executive Producers and Kirk R. Thatcher is director. The film will stream on Disney Plus on October 8.
