In her third Bollywood film, Shilpa Shetty stole Akshay Kumar's heart. Not in reality, but in the song Chura Ke Dil Mera from Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994). 26 years later, the actress has recreated the same song but with a new actor. This time, it is Jaaved Jaaferi's son, Meezaan. Shilpa and Meezaan recreated Chura Ke Dil Mera for their upcoming film titled Hungama 2. The song dropped on social media today.
In the video, Meezaan is singing Chura Ke Dil Mera for 'goriya' Shilpa at a party. Her husband, played by Paresh Rawal, finds something fishy. The reprised version of the song is sung by Anmol Malik & Benny Dayal. The original was sung by Kumar Sanu & Alka Yagnik. Shilpa looks stunning in a red outfit. Meezaan looks dapper in suit.
Hungama 2 marks Shilpa's return to acting after 13 years. The film is directed by Priyadarshan and also stars Pranitha Subhash, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever and Ashutosh Rana. The film is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain and Armaan Ventures. Hungama 2 will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on July 23.
