The OTT space is becoming a favourite with several Bollywood stars. Big names like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and others are venturing into the digital zone with some interesting narratives. Now, as the demand for web shows is on a constant rise, reports are coming in that Jaya Bachchan has kickstarted the shoot of her digital debut. According to a leading daily's report, Mrs Bachchan has signed a web show titled Sadabahar, produced by Endemol Shine India.
Reportedly, the show went on floors in February this year. A source close to the development told the daily that Mrs Bachchan has resumed shoot after the lockdown restrictions were relaxed. "The team shot at Sony Mony and Apna Bazar in Andheri this week. The story is being shot in real locations, and the makers are mindful of keeping the crew to a bare minimum. A unit of 50 has been handpicked for the bio-bubble shoot," the source told.

Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan's film Gulabo Sitabo became the first Hindi film to get an OTT release last year. Months later, Abhishek A Bachchan was the first in the family to explore the digital world with his debut series Breathe Into The Shadows.
Mrs Bachchan, who was last seen in Ki & Ka (2016), will make her Marathi film debut in Gajendra Ahire's upcoming directorial.
