Karan Johar releases the teaser of his Netflix anthology 'Ajeeb Daastaans' ft. Shefali Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Nushrratt Bharuccha and others

Karan Johar shared the first-ever teaser of his Netflix anthology Ajeeb Daastaans, directed by 4 directors of Dharma. Starring Shefali Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Jaideep Ahlwat, Aditi Rao Hydari, Abhishek Banerjee, Konkana Se amongst others, the anthology will release on April 16 on Netflix. 

Sharing the teaser, Karan wrote, "It’s here... A collaborative effort, yet uniquely individual. Presenting #AjeebDaastaans with 4 exceptionally talented #DirectorsOfDharma, coming together to weave 4 individual stories that are stranger than reality itself. The anthology is produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment and four directors namely Kayoze Irani, Neeraj Ghaywan, Raj Mehta and Shashank Khaitan will be showcasing their stories. Netflix described the premise as "Ajeeb Daastaans will showcase four diverse stories exploring human flaws and emotions like jealousy, entitlement, prejudices and toxicity, which are often entangled at the heart of a relationship. The films raise questions that will leave you with a dilemma between what's right and what's wrong as the lines get blurred."

On March 4,  Karan announced the names of 14 new directors who have joined his Dharma Productions to tell some interesting stories. The directors are Sharan Sharma, Raj Mehta, Collin DCunha, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Paras Chakravarti, Vivek Soni, Amritpal Singh Bindra, Anand Tiwari, Karan Singh Tyagi, Anubhuti Kashyap, Shazia Iqbal, Pushkar Ojha, Sagar Ambre and Kayoze Irani.
