Coming 2 America trailer: Eddie Murphy returns to Queens as King Akeem to find his long-lost male heir

Amazon Studios has shared the second trailer for the much-anticipated Coming 2 America. The film is the sequel to the 1988 Eddie Murphy comedy and brings the actor back after a gap of 33 long years to reprise his role. The new trailer builds on the premise of the first one, released in December.

The new preview brings the action first to Queens and then takes us to the fictional country of Zamunda, where Murphy’s King Akeem is up against a likely military coup led by a general played by Wesley Snipes. In order to stop the takeover, King Akeem and his confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) go to America to find the king’s long lost male heir.
