Ramin Bahrani’s directorial The White Tiger starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav and based on Aravind Adiga’s Man-Booker prize winning book of the same name has found a fan in Grammy-winning singer Cardi B. The singer lavished praise on the film and said that she was ‘crying and angry watching it’. She also applauded Priyanka for his remarkable performance in the film.
Cardi B took to Twitter to share her review of The White Tiger. She wrote, “White tiger is such a great movie. I was crying and angry watching it." When Priyanka thanked her for her compliment, she added, "Yes You was so sweet and adorable. You was amazing ." An excited Priyanka replied, "kisses always mama! You the best."

Priyanka is a co-producer of The White Tiger with Ava DuVernay, that released on January 22 on Netflix. It has also become the most popular film, worldwide, on Netflix. Adarsh has already secured a nomination at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in the best male lead category. Buzz is that the film might secure nominations at the Oscars this year including a Best Supporting nods for both Priyanka and Rajkummar while Adarsh is tipped for a Best Actor nomination.
