Soldier! Soldier! Netflix pays an ode to 'screen ka fauji' Bobby Deol with a rap on him for 'Class Of ’83', documents his Bollywood career

With Netflix's film Class Of '83, Bollywood actor Bobby Deol made his much-awaited web debut. The film directed by Atul Sabharwal released this afternoon. Interestingly, Bobby completed 25 years in the industry this year. Making the occasion special and marking his web debut, Netflix paid an ode to his journey over the years with a fun rap. The rap was released on social media today.

The rap song takes fans of Bobby along as they recall and celebrate the actor's journey in Bollywood. The lyrics of the rap include words and phrases from Bobby's iconic 90s songs. With verses like 'Soldier! Soldier! Screen ka ye fauji', 'Iski meethi baate lage jaise heart ki emoji', 'Aur hogaya pyaar dekhe badal aur barsaat', 'Not gupt, hum-raaz nahi karte hai bardasht (na bardasht)', the song is a fun and foot-tapping ode to Bobby.

Class Of '83 is written by Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande and also features Anup Soni, Joy Sengupta, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Bhupendra Jadawat, Hitesh Bhojraj, Sameer Paranjape, Ninad Mahajani and Prithvik Pratap. Bobby plays the role of Dean Vijay Singh. The film is based on Hussain Zaidi’s book of the same name and is produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment.
