Amazon Prime's Paatal Lok opened to excellent reviews throughout the day. Anushka Sharma, who produced the show could not celebrate with her team due to the lockdown but the actress threw a new-age success party with her cast and crew, of course in a unique manner. The actress organized a virtual success party over a video call with her entire Paatal Lok team.
Sharing a screenshot of the many chat windows on Instagram, Anushka wrote, “What ‘Success party’s’ look like in these times .PAATAL LOK streaming NOW on @primevideoin !! Had a blast with this incredible team of ours.” Anushka can be seen in a white tee, smiling while talking to her team. Lead actors Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays a cynical cop Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary and Abhishek Banerjee, who plays Hathoda Tyagi are also seen in the frame. Among others are creator Sudip Sharma and directors Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy. Anushka's brother Karnesh, co-owner of Clean Slate Films, was also seen in the video call separately.
Paatal Lok is a 9-part Amazon Original Series that released globally on May 15. The series follows the story of an honest cop investigating an assassination attempt on a well-known journalist. The thrilling chase leads him to the dark alleys of the netherworld - the 'Paatal Lok'.
