The stalwarts of Indian cinema, filmmakers Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee, after collaborating with each other for Netflix' successful anthology Lust Stories, are back together for yet another one but this time, for a horror series titled Ghost Stories. Ever since the show was announced earlier this year, the audience has been waiting with bated breath to get spooked and thrilled with an amalgamation of intriguing tales. Now, after much wait, the makers of Ghost Stories announced the premiere date as January 1, 2020. Moments post the date was declared, Netflix, on their Instagram account, shared the first look of the leading actress of each story.

Netflix, on Instagram, shared Mrunal Thakur's look from Karan's show. Dressed in a nightsuit, the actress's expression speaks volumes of the fear the character is experiencing at that moment. In the next picture, we can see is curious and frightened Janhvi Kapoor, who is leading Zoya's narrative, opening the door of a room. Sobhita Dhulipala from Anurag Kashyap's scare-fest is looking inside an attic while standing near the staircase that leads to the room. In Dibakar's lead character look, we can spot a young child with a worried expression on his face.
