Filmmakers Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar are all set to team up once again post the anthology titled Lust Stories on Netflix. The awesome foursome are yet again collaborating with the digital entertainment platform for yet another anthology but this time, for a horror series. Karan, Anurag, Dibakar and Zoya, with Netlfix are all set to spread some chills with Ghost Stories and are looking forward to exploring the genre and experiment. With the web series being announced back in August, Karan, Zoya, Anurag and Dibakar, on Thursday, confirmed its premiere date on Twitter.
Karan, Zoya, Anurag and Dibakar, through an intriguing video on Netflix' Twitter handle, informed that Ghost Stories will premiere at midnight on January 1, 2020. From lavish weddings taking a spooky turn to scary kindergarten rhymes and strange fascination for food to monsters and more, the awesome foursome is here to keep you awake the whole night. Speaking of the cast of Ghost Stories, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary, Kusha Kapila, Vijay Varma, Sobhita Dhulipala and others will be seen in the leading roles. The stories, directed by the filmmakers, will be thematically connected to each other and culminate in the end.
