MX Player’s latest Gujrati web show Do Not Disturb is currently streaming on the OTT platform. The six episodic series revolves around the lives of happily and not so happily married couple Maulik (Malhar Thakar) and Meera (Manasi Parekh Gohil).
Talking about the crux of the show, the Gujrathi series is a yet another slice of life, light-hearted web show which showcases cultural and background differences between Meera and Maulik. The husband aka Mauli is a typical Maulik Amdavadi boy, rooted, rustic a typical ‘husband’ material who loves food, respects traditions, keeps his parents above everything, indeed relatable right, Meera is an opinionated, progressive and modern girl from Mumbai who has her own stand.
Hailing from two different mindsets and background, Meera and Maulik are relatable and we find such a couple at our neighbourhood and you never know you must be one of them. Do Not Disturb, is a fun-filled story and will make you smile, laugh, love and run to your partner and hug them right now.
Directed by Sandeep Patel and penned by Mitai Shukla Nehal Bakshi brings to life the intimate conversations between the husband and wife, the difference in opinions and the compromises they make for their love.
Manasi Parekh is making her digital debut with Do Not disturb and needless to say she is back with a bang as she has a power-packed role in the show. On the other hand, Malhar is the superstar of Gujrathi industry, his coy and sober act in the web show is too cute to be missed.
