Everyone is undoubtedly waiting with bated breath for Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan starrer Sacred Games 2. The second season, slated to premiere on Netflix on August 15, will follow a new trail of friendship, betrayal, crime, passion, and a thrilling chase through Mumbai's underbelly. Ahead of the show's release, the digital entertainment platform has been unveiling some exciting clipping and posters, which have certainly left the audience intrigued. Now, the makers of the crime thriller have dropped in yet another teaser of Saif aka Sartaj Singh and it features him asking, 'Kya hoga jab kurbaan karne ke liye kuch bacha hi na ho'?
The teaser begins with him recalling the deaths of Nayanika Sehgal (Geetanjali Thapa), Constable Katekar (Jitendra Joshi) and Anjali Mathur (Radhika Apte). As he tries to nurse the wound on his hand, Saif questions, "What would you do when you've given it all you have?"

The second season picks up from Sartaj Singh (actor Saif Ali Khan) pursuing his relentless battle of saving the city and Ganesh Gaitonde (actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui) facing bigger challenges to retain his position as the legendary kingpin of Mumbai. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan have directed the new season. The intriguing Guruji (actor Pankaj Tripathi), introduced in season one as Gaitonde's 'third father', plays a pivotal role in unfolding a chain of events that shape the next season.
Based on author Vikram Chandra's best-selling novel, the first season of Sacred Games received viewer appreciation and critical acclaim worldwide for its gritty plot and power-packed performances.
