Amazon Prime’s Made in Heaven web series made all the right noises when it premiered on the digital platform. It managed to strike a chord with the millennial generation and made them stick to their phone screens for a little while longer. Now, Zoya Akhtar the creator of the series has brought new frenzy and excitement with her latest social media post. In her post she confirmed that the show will have another season.
Zoya shared a picture of a typewriter on her Instagram and shared the good news with the captions, “Back To Work #day1 #writersroom #madeinheaven #season2 #herewego @reemakagti1 @alankrita601 @nityamehra19 @rahulnair8."Made in Heaven revolves around the lives of two wedding planners Tara and Karan and their numerous clients whose life and marriage is shown in the series.

Arjun Mathur who plays Karan in the series shared the post with the caption, “In case you were wondering about a 2nd season." Besides Arjun, the series stars Shobhita Dhulipala in the lead. The previous season had Jim Sarbh, Neena Gupta, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Kalki Koechlin and Shashank Arora. The series was helmed by directors Prashant Nair, Nitya Mehra and Alankrita Shrivastava. Made in Heaven was created by Zoya and Reema Kagti.
The second season’s announcement has made all of us very upbeat but the fans will have to wait a little longer as the show is still in a very nascent stage.
