Meet 'The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family': Here are 5 reasons why you should definitely watch ALT Balaji new show

The trailer of Ekta Kapoor's ALT Balaji's The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family is out and it does not hesitate to show the true side of an Indian family. The web series features Kay Kay Menon, Barun Sobti, Swaroop Sampat, Shriswara Dubey, and Eisha Chopra.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon fame Barun plays the brother of Kay Kay in the web series and their differences are clearly seen in the show. The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family focuses on the many flaws of the Ranawat family. The trailer hints at secrets, pain, bitterness, anger and misgivings that we're sure will be unravelled as the show progresses because it seems that the Ranawats are holding back their emotions for eight long years.

Here are 5 reasons to look forward to this Dysfunctional Family:

An Unusual Bond

The Ranawats share an unusual bond of love, hatred, and frustration all at the same time. But even though their bond is unique, it brings out the best in them.

Openly showing family flaws

The web series doesn't shy away from showing the honest problems that a family faces. It brings out the flaws but in the most interesting and funny manner.

TOGETHERNESS DESPITE THE DIFFERENCES

The best part about this dysfunctional family is that despite all the differences and hard feelings, they're together in every situation.

Trying to get their picture perfect

Even though the family does not gel really well but they make sure they get their picture perfect. The Ranawats want the best result for their family picture both in reel and real life. The series will run us through their 'not so perfect' journey in a beautiful manner.

THE CONCEPT

In an era of perfect family shows and daily soaps, The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family tries to show us the reality and gets a new concept. They show their bond in a humourous manner wanting us all to be a part of this crazy dysfunctional family.

Imperfection is what makes a family perfect, or maybe not. Meet the Ranawats on October 10.
