Bigg Boss 11 fame Vikas Gupta started his career as a creative head with Ekta Kapoor’s shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. He then went on to produce genre-benders like Gumrah, Webbed and many more under his own production banner, The Lost Boy Productions. And now we hear that the two have joined hands to produce a web series together.
According to our sources, very soon Vikas and Ekta will team up together for a web series that is going to be a fully fledged love story. The duo has started working on it and if all goes well it will be on floors by the first week of October. Apparently, the scripting of the same has already been done; the casting is still in process.
We all know that Ekta and Vikas are quite close and apart from a working relationship, the two also bond on a personal level where Vikas calls Ekta his Rakhi sister. “Shobha aunty is my guru while Ekta is my Rakhi sister. I have been tying Rakhi to her for a few years now. I definitely, share a close and platonic relationship with Ekta,” Vikas said in a statement.
