Comedian and actor, Kapil Sharma, has recently finished shooting the weekend episode of Bigg Boss 11 where he promoted his upcoming film, Firangi. Audiences were surprised when they heard the news of Kapil making an appearance on Bigg Boss given the history the comedian shares with the channel - COLORS. Kapil shared a picture from the sets and tweeted, “Firangi promotion with the @11_Bigboss @BeingSalmanKhan #FirangiOnNov24.”

Kapil had a public feud with Colors owing to his show Comedy Nights With Kapiil and so he shifted to rival channel SONY with a new show, The Kapil Sharma Show. For this special weekend episode – Weekend Ka Vaar With Salman - he was found building bridges with not just Colors but also Bigg Boss contestant Shilpa Shinde, who despite being cast in Kapil’s show could not make it because of the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain controversy.
Reportedly, as part of a task, Kapil asked the contestants whom they’d kick on the show if they were given the option. Arshi chose Hina, while Akash chose Priyank. Both got to kick mannequins that had Hina and Priyank’s masks on them.

The special episode will air this weekend and it will be fun to see that Salman, who has forever been a guest on Kapil’s shows, will host the comedian, and will Sharma be able to face the whacky hosting andaaz of Khan!
Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Kapil’s upcoming movie, Firangi, is a historical drama set in the 1920s.
