I'm losing colour: Cancer survivor Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas reveals being diagnosed with autoimmune disease, vitiligo

Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas revealed in a new Instagram post that she has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, vitiligo. She is a cancer survivor and had a relapse a few years ago. Sharing her latest pictures on Instagram, Mamta said she's 'losing her colour'. 

"Dear , I embrace you now like I have never before. So Spotted, I’m losing color…I rise even before you every morning, to see you glimmer your first ray through the haze. Give me all you’ve got..for I will be indebted, here on out and forever by your grace," she wrote.

Workwise, Mamta made her debut in 2005 with the Malayalam film Mayookham. She went on to star alongside Mammootty in Bus Conductor, with Suresh Gopi in Adbutham and Lanka (2006), and with Jayaram in Madhuchandralekha the same year. She is also a playback singer.

Apart from Malayalam cinema, Mamta has acted in a few Telugu, Kannada and Tamil films.
