Godfather is a political action thriller, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, Godfather features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in important roles.

For the unversed, Salman’s and Chiranjeevi’s family have been friends for a long time. When Ram Charan made his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer in 2013, Salman had lent full support to him and promoted the film.
