Radhe Shyam: Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s film not postponed, makers rubbish rumours of delayed release


In the wake of the postponement of SS Rajamouli’s RRR’s released date due to the sudden spurt in the Covid-19 cases, speculations were rife that Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam will also have a change in its release date. However, the makers released a statement rubbishing the rumours. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam is an epic love story set in 1970s Europe.

The official statement from UV Creations said, "There is no change in the release plans of `Radhe Shyam’ . The Prabhas-starrer is gearing up to hit the screens on January 14. Don`t believe the rumours.”

As if to reassure the fans that the film is indeed hitting the screens on January 14, the makers released a fresh new poster of the lead star cast.

Apart from Prabhas and Pooja, Radhe Shyam features Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar and Priyadarshi in supporting roles. Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao form the technical crew.
